The Staff from Basra Branch visited the Widow, Fardous Ahmed Issa, who lives with her 2 children, Rod and Hussein.  They found this family living under dire circumstances, and in great need for humane support to help them overcome their suffering.

Hussein suffers from sickle cell anemia.  He is in need of regular check-ups and medical reviews.  His blood must be replaced every month.

The widow and her children live in a rented house costing 250,000 IQD (Approx £150) per month.  The family is registered with the social welfare and receive an amount of 200,000 IQD (Approx £120) every two months.
This amount is insufficient to cover the rent or provide for their livelihood.

This family desperately needs: -

- Ongoing Monthly Sponsorship of 50,000 IQD (Approx £30) for Hussein’s treatment.

- A once-off Donation of 165,000 IQD (Approx £100) to buy a cooker.

- A once-off Donation of 135,000 IQD (Approx £80) to buy a boiler.
