The branch staff visited the house of the old widow (A. DH), who has been caring for her four orphaned grandchildren in the wake of their father's death and their mother's leaving after re-marrying.
 
These children are aged between 4 and 10 years.
 
Their elderly grandmother took charge of them when they became without a carer. This family now lives in the woman son's house in a small room that lacks the necessary supplies such as a fridge and a cooker.
 
The children are at school, need a lot of school supplies, and have no financial resource except for a small amount of  pension, which is not enough to meet the living requirements of food, drink and medicine.
 
This family is in dire need for:
 
- A monthly assistance for the orphans of 30K  IQD, (£20) for each orphan.
- A cash assistance of 150K  IQD,  (£100) to buy a cooker.
 
- A cash assistance of 220K  IQD,  (.£145) to buy a refrigerator.
